This initiative is carried out in collaboration with the African Intellectual Property Rights & Innovation in Africa (AfrPi) and Africa International Trade and Commerce (AITCR), with support from the European Union (EU).

As the Chief Convener of the Intellectual Property Society of Nigeria (IPSN), alongside her team, they have successfully organised two virtual conferences that have taken place so far and celebrated two World Intellectual Property Day. 

Presently, she is the Second Vice-Chair of the NBA Section on Business Law, Sports Entertainment and Media Committee.  IPLAN has named her as one of the top 20 women in IP in 2023. Dr. Marie-James has a Ph.D in Engineering Management from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, an MSc. She sits on the boards (Advisory Board) of PAYSONET a fintech company that provides streamlined digital solutions to SME’s, and Cyber Skill Bridge (as a Trustee) an NGO that provides cyber skills training, digital technology skills and education within Nigeria.

Davidson is an experienced corporate lawyer, financier, and investor. He is the Managing Partner at Nubia Capital, a US based Venture Capital Firm focused on funding and investing in tech-enabled startups in Africa, Canada and the US. He is also part of different angel investment syndicates and SPVs that invest in tech businesses in North America and Africa. 

Davidson is a non-executive director in startups in Nigeria and Canada and mentors entrepreneurs on matters related to regulatory compliance, board management, intellectual property, and startup-related challenges. He also contributes as a mentor at the Founder Institute, an international pre-seed accelerator.

Naona Usoroh, Ms., is a social innovator and leader in the agricultural sector, dedicated to driving sustainable growth and empowering communities across sub-Saharan Africa. As the head of monitoring, evaluation, and learning at the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF), Ms. Usoroh plays a crucial role in ensuring the organization meets its objectives of bridging financial gaps and catalyzing resources to strengthen food security in Nigeria. Established by an act of the National Assembly in 2022, NADF aims to overcome limitations hindering growth in the agricultural sector, and Naona's leadership is instrumental in achieving this goal. 

With a distinguished career spanning the non-profit and agriculture/agribusiness sectors, Naona's unwavering commitment to improving food systems in the region has been the driving force behind her success. Her recent initiatives, such as mainstreaming women in farm mechanization, spearheading financial and digital literacy programs for women smallholder farmers, and supporting the development of women's capacity in climate-smart agricultural practices, exemplify her dedication to promoting accessibility, financial inclusiveness, and digital empowerment within the agricultural field. Prior to her current position at NADF, Naona served as the Chief Executive Officer of Fadhila Crop Science Limited, an agric inputs firm, where she demonstrated her exceptional ability to facilitate strategic partnerships. 

In 2020, she led a remarkable $20 million Mastercard Foundation funded project that provided end-to-end support to 65,000 small-scale farmers across twelve Nigerian states. Through skillful stakeholder engagement and strategic integration tactics, Naona successfully ensured greater inclusion of female smallholder farmers among the project's beneficiaries, showcasing her leadership in promoting gender equality in agriculture. 

As a passionate advocate for gender equity in the agricultural sector, Naona co-founded the Gender Champions Business Network Africa, where she implements practical measures such as mentorship and coaching to empower women in agriculture, enabling them to develop resilience and prosper. Her efforts are focused on rectifying disparities faced by women-owned agribusiness SMEs and providing valuable opportunities for young women in particular. Naona currently serves as the Strategic Advisor with the Gombe Business Women Network, further demonstrating her commitment to women's empowerment in the agricultural sector. Naona's background, which includes being a former Henry Luce and Bixby fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, provides her with a strong foundation in Sustainability. This knowledge, combined with her degree in Economics and extensive leadership experience, allows her to make valuable contributions towards promoting sustainable development within the agriculture sector.

Dimieari Von Kemedi is Managing Director and Chief Executive Ocer of the Arila Group. He has worked in community development, nature conservation, and conflict management. Kemedi has served a number of senior level expert and consulting positions, including with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the UN Panel of Experts on Liberia, Statoil, and the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Kemedi holds a degree in law from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt and was Environmental Politics Visiting Fellow at the University of California Berkeley. Together with his team and partners, Kemedi is building the ARILA ecosystem - which includes interest in agro-production, energy, and logistics - into a strong and diversified agriculture and commodities business with scope to expand across Africa. Prior to founding Arila Group, Kemedi worked in community development, nature conservation and conflict management. He has served a number of senior level expert and consulting positions including with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the UN Panel of Experts on Liberia, Statoil and the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Kemedi holds a degree in law from the Rivers State University of Science & Technology, Port Harcourt, and was Environmental Politics Visiting Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley.

Pacqueens Irabor is a visionary development finance banker with over 18 years’ experience. Pacqueens is versed in Project Finance, Business Ecosystem Development, MSME Value Chain Financing, Strategy Formulation, Business improvement, Process Re-engineering and Automation, Business Development & Marketing, Business Change Management, Quality Management System Audit, Social Impact Investment Programme and Organizational Learning Systems etc.

Since 2020, Pacqueens has served as the Regional Manager of Bank of Industry Limited, overseeing the South-South Regional Office. In this role, he spearheads initiatives to advance the bank's developmental objectives throughout the six BRACED states of the region. His responsibilities include providing business development support and financing to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) engaged in value-added activities and businesses.

Pacqueens Irabor, a COREN Registered Mechanical Engineer and member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), also holds registrations as a Cost Engineer and Fellow in Engineering Valuation. Currently serving as the South West Coordinator at the Institute of Appraisals and Cost Engineers (IACE), he is recognized as a Fellow by the Institute of Management Consultant Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria (CIPMN). Additionally, he holds the esteemed title of Certified Management Consultant and is a longstanding member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). As a microfinance certified member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIBN), Pacqueens has been contributing as a HultPrize Judge since 2017.

Pacqueens Irabor is the visionary behind the Noble Adventures for Mankind

 Empowerment (NAME) Foundation and the thought leader of the Lovepreneurship Movement. NAME Foundation champions lovepreneurship and envisions a world full of righteousness, peace, and joy, driven by businesses that promote national development and personal fulfillment.

Utilizing the NAME Foundation platform, Pacqueens pioneers innovative development initiatives for lovepreneurs and development institutions like the Bank of Industry Limited. These initiatives include:

1.       The Lovepreneurship Centre TLC: TLC is a common facility hub for startups and budding entrepreneurs in Ibadan Oyo State which currently houses 18 businesses 

2.       Agribusiness For All Revolution Initiative (AFARI): AFARI is a Business Empowerment Model designed to create enterprising communities around local agricultural produces/food value chains in rural and urban communities that ensures fairness in wealth creation and distribution amongst value chain actors within agribusiness ecosystems. This initiative is currently in operation in Oyo and Rivers States and it is currently built around Household Subsistence Broiler Production (HSBP) Scheme.

3.       Education around Sustainable Enterprises (EASE): Promoting the development of relevant and marketable Attitudes, Skills and Knowledge (ASK) for the benefits of students, faculties and school managements alike through integrated business apprenticeship programmes in the Nigerian education sector (primary to tertiary).

4.       Christabel's Health Insurance Project (CHIP): Increasing health insurance enrollment among Nigerians, providing access to healthcare services worth over N46.8 million annually for low-income individuals.

5.       The Lovepreneurship Fund: NAME Foundation's venture capital fund, investing N16.5 million since 2015 in projects spanning education, manufacturing, agribusiness, and common facility development.

6.       The Lovepreneurship Academy, LA:  LA serves as the educational arm of NAME Foundation, dedicated to nurturing leadership and stewardship skills among young schoolchildren. Through a comprehensive curriculum and experiential learning activities, LA is empowering the next generation of compassionate and innovative leaders who will drive positive change in society.

Pacqueens, happily married to Christabel Irabor and blessed with six children, including twins, embodies the spirit of lovepreneurship in both his personal and professional life.

Dr Ebbi Donald Robinson MBBS, MPH, MNIM, Msc (Radiation/ Medical Physics), MMCR, FWACS, FICS completed his basic medical education in 2002 at the in University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. He later proceeded for Postgraduate Specialist training in Radiology and Radiation Medicine after a few years of public service. He is a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (Faculty of Radiology) Fellow of the International College of Surgeons and a Member of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. Dr Robinson has two Master’s Degrees, one in Public Health Administration and the other in Medical/Radiation physics. He is a Consultant diagnostic/Interventional Radiologist with the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital and a Senior blecturer with the Rivers State University.He is a member of many professional associations including the Association of Radiologist in Nigeria, Nigerian Society of Interventional Radiologist, Radiologic Society of North America and European Society of Radiology. He has over 40 peer-reviewed publications and is a reviewer for both local and international journals. Besides academics, He is presently the Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association Rivers State Branch, 2nd Vice President, Association of Radiologist in Nigeria and Treasurer of the Nigerian Society of Interventional Radiologist.
